James E. Lee, Jr., D.P.M., is a graduate from the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs CO with a BS in Biology and a graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach FL with an MAS in Aeronautical Science. Following completion of his undergraduate studies he served proudly for his country as a missile launch officer for 4 years and a fighter navigator for 15 years. Dr. Lee retired from the United States Air Force in 2013 to pursue his medical career. He chose Podiatry as his second profession to continue to serve the community providing a variety of services to a diverse group of people. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland CA.
Upon graduation from the California School of Podiatric Medicine, he completed a comprehensive three-year residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco CA. During that time he performed foot and ankle reconstructions, trauma surgery and diabetic limb salvage. During his final year he also served as chief resident.
When Dr. Lee isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family, which includes two dogs, and a cat as well as hiking, biking, camping, traveling, scuba diving and all things involving remote control planes and cars.
